Dear Team—
I understand you all just wrapped up your town hall - I trust you’re as enthusiastic as I am with the recent updates. Last time I sent you all a update, I stated the following: “I believe in this crew. You all are some of the most dedicated and innovative developers we have had the pleasure to partner with - and we’re eager for that partnership to continue.”
Through your commitment and flexibility, especially over the past twelve months, you repeatedly show that.
The gamer responses from last autumn’s the game playtest was enlightening. It affirmed the potential of a roguelike shooter but made clear we still had improvements to make. It uncovered the necessity for a sharper vision.
It has been motivating to see how far you’ve progressed. You took the input to heart and overhauled Project ETHOS with a renewed vision - one that’s ready to deliver on its promise to our audience.
Our confidence in this project increases every day. To boost the incredible development you’ve made, I am thrilled to announce Ben Brinkman as the new Director of the team. Following several months of talks, Ben officially joins us on Monday, October 20.
Ben’s management and background in the PVP shooter field is extensive, having dedicated the past decade and a half creating and overseeing some of the most popular series in the industry, for example the acclaimed shooter, and most recently, the battle royale hit.
I invite you all in receiving him soon. We are all eager to continue seeing the evolution of Project ETHOS in the months to follow.
David
